Colorado Inventor Users Group

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

6:30PM – 9:00PM

Please join us this month at one of Denver’s own technology leaders – Norgren (part of the IMI Group of engineering companies). They were one of Colorado’s earliest adopters of Inventor, and now they’ve opened their doors to host a Users Group for us. Mo Jalaly has graciously volunteered to give a brief demonstration, and Avatech will be presenting a brand new 2008 technology:

Using Dynamic Simulation
  • Predict dynamic performance and peak stresses without building prototypes
  • Complete library of motion joints with friction, damping, and stiffness – and NEW in 2008 – automatic translation of assembly constraints into joints!
  • Graphical input of driving loads with time-based force functions – and NEW in 2008 – export motion loads over multiple time steps!
  • Transfer reaction forces to Inventor Stress Analysis (ANSYS)
Quickly create a parametric Inventor part using standard views of an AutoCAD drawing
  • Use DWG TrueConnect to open AutoCAD files directly in Inventor
  • Leverage Autodesk Labs to quickly recognize 2D features and create parametric 3D solids.
  • Update 2D projects with new 3D designs
Inventor Q&A

As always, food and soft drinks will be provided for those who bring questions and experiences to share!

Come to discuss ideas, increase knowledge and get advice from Avatech’s experts and other Colorado Inventor users.
